How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps to permanently delete your account and all associated data:

1. Log in to your account using Facebook authentication
2. Navigate to the chat interface - You'll see several buttons in the header
3. Click the "Delete Account" button - It's located next to the Memory button
4. Confirm the deletion - You'll be asked to confirm multiple times:
   • First confirmation: Review what will be deleted
   • Type "DELETE" to confirm your intent
   • Final confirmation: Last chance to cancel
5. Account deletion - Once confirmed, your account and all data will be permanently removed

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

• User Profile: Your Facebook-linked account information (name, email, profile picture)
• All Memories: Every saved fact and piece of information the AI has learned about you
• Chat History: Your complete conversation history with the AI companion
• Session Data: All active and stored session information

Alternative: Delete Individual Data

If you don't want to delete your entire account, you can manage your data individually:

• Delete Memories: Use the Memory button to view and delete individual memories
• Chat History: Chat history is automatically limited to the last 10 messages
• Logout: Simply log out to end your session (your data remains stored)

After Account Deletion

Once your account is deleted:

• You will be automatically logged out
• You'll be redirected to the home page
• All your data will be permanently removed from our databases
• You can create a new account at any time, but your previous data cannot be recovered

Data Recovery

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot recover your data once it has been deleted. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming the deletion.
